Our tour guides were Ethan Allen and Tori and they were equally entertaining and informative. We were a group of 4; 2 adults and 2 kids (9 and 11 years old). We had a BLAST ripping it up in the Polaris and seeing so much of Kauai's backcountry. We agreed this was our favorite experience in Kauai. We got the dirtiest we have ever been and it was 100% worth it! I recommend wearing clothes you don't totally care about or even just wearing a bathing suit and coverup (they have outdoor showers you can rinse off under at the end), closed toed water shoes like Keens because you hike down to a gorgeous beach during one portion of your adventure, and buying a waterproof phone case that is on a lanyard you can put around your neck. My husband drove and I sat passenger and was able to take epic video and pictures with my waterproof phone case on. At one point my son was absolutely covered in mud! But he didn't care because he was having the best time. I 100% recommend doing this tour. You will have SO MUCH FUN. When we got back to our hotel and showered all the red dirt off, all we kept talking about was how fun it was and re-watching all of our videos I took. (also note, that the other ATV tour on the island that is from a different company, only lets you drive 15mph and as our tour guides said, 'all you do is drive in circles') Book this tour, you and your family will love it!

We were a group of 4. Hoped and got rain the night before so we could get a little muddy. Success on that part. Lots of good history of. Kauai.

The greatest parts of the tour were the ability to see parts of Kauai that are not accessible with a rental car and possibly not even hiking since they are on private land AND you get to go pretty fast on roads that require four-wheel drive. We were there on a dry day, but I can imagine you can get really muddy if it has just rained.
