This was a fabulous experience as we kayaked 12 miles down the Colorado inside the beautiful gorge. We had multiple stops with hikes, soaks and swims. Ashley, Alissa and Xander were terrific guides. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and could not do enough to help us. They all went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. The only complaint was the substantial very hot wind from the south that at times was pushing us upstream against the current! There were plenty of snacks and lots of water. Our comfort was a priority for them.

Kim...it was such a pleasure having your family out on the river with us. What a fun group! Sometimes mother nature throws us a curveball and that wind can certainly pose a bit of a challenge, but you all did great and hopefully were able to skip the gym that night! Amazing experience! Views were incredible and the tour was well organized. Anthony was our guide, and he did a fantastic job. We did the "Kayak Hoover Dam with Hot Springs from Las Vegas" tour, which was 12 miles - definitely a workout, but totally worth it for us. Something to consider when you book if anyone in your group would not be able to handle such a long trip, the company offers shorter ones. The river is very calm, and Anthony provided great instruction, so even the person in our group who had not kayaked before was able to catch on quickly and have a great time. The tour company also provides all water and food, and there was plenty for everyone. Would highly recommend!

The Kayak Hoover Dam and Hot Springs tour truly is a once in a lifetime experience. The early morning launch is incredibly peaceful and Anthony does a phenomenal job getting the guests acclimated to the kayaks and paddling. Tank you for the wonderful account of your day.

Our family of 4 did the 12 mile kayaking trip with Ashley as our river guide. Even thought the temperature was 105, the temperature on the water only felt around 80 degrees because the river water is so cool. This trip is beautiful and amazing, with some great stops at multiple hot springs, a sauna cave (if you can brave the dark and the heat), and a boatload of stunning views in the canyon. Kudos to Ashley who was an excellent guide, encouraging, and knowledgeable of every square inch of the river.

This tour is phenomenol..filled with so many unexpected sights and adventures. You feel as if you've been transported to another region of the world!
