Our experience was exhilarating! Being up close and personal with the mantas was otherworldly; they were much bigger than I expected but so gentle and graceful. We booked the 6:20 tour and saw at least 10 different mantas. I was glad we included the wetsuits with our booking, because the water was colder than we anticipated. Justin, Danny, and Jordan were all very friendly and made the experience feel less intimidating. Jen was also so sweet and encouraging during check-in. Parking was challenging because the departure location was full of people doing other sunset tours--I'd recommend getting there 30 to 45 minutes before the check-in time to make sure you can get a spot, especially if you're going for the earlier nighttime slots. However, the check-in process seemed to be padded with some extra time to make sure everyone is present before the boat leaves, so we had plenty of time to get situated even with parking. It's also a good idea to come to the location already in your swimsuit. Overall, this was my favorite part of our trip to Hawaii and I would do it again in a heartbeat. We booked the day of and Deavon reached out soon after we signed up on line. Deavon also greeted us when we arrived, gave clear instructions and we walked down to the dock. The boat was there, staff was awesome assisting people in and out of the boat. The ride was quick and we were in the water. Arrival time to water was maybe 15-30 minutes. After a few moments we saw a few bottlenose dolphins and the manta's showed up shortly after. We saw easily 20-24 manta rays and the activity was constant. It was so amazing, they even followed us back to the boat. I highly recommend this trip with Hawai'in Island and Ocean Tours. The staff was friendly, helpful and patient.

What an amazing experience from start to finish. The minute we jumped in the water the Manta Rays were there. And they just kept coming. This was value for money and cheaper than other operators. There was great communication from the time we booked, clear direction on getting there, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this company and this experience.
