Wycieczka zaczyna się od kilku mniejszych progów klasy I-III, kiedy zaczynasz wiosłować i pracować zespołowo. Następnie uderzasz w większe bystrza klasy IV-V. Mniej więcej w połowie podróży Twoja podróż zatrzyma się i zje lunch w stylu delikatesowym na brzegu. Po obiedzie popłyniesz w dół rzeki do serca wąwozu. Adventures on the Gorge

Meet your rafting trip leader at the departure point. You will listen to a brief orientation and get your gear (personal flotation device, helmet and paddle). Then, you will have a 30-minute ride on a school bus down to the river put-in. Your guide will go over additional instructions once you get in the raft. The trip begins with a few smaller class I-III rapids as you ease into paddling and working as a team. Then, you hit some bigger rapids rated class IV-V. About half way through the trip, your trip will pull over and eat a deli-style lunch on the shore. After lunch, you will continue downstream into the heart of the Gorge. Here you’ll go through several rapids rated class III-V. Between rapids, there is time for swimming, floating and maybe (based on water levels) jumping off of rocks. The trip ends just past the New River Gorge Bridge.

The New River White Water Rafting trip was fantastic! Our family of 5 adults rafted with one of the best guides on the river, Greg. The crew did a great job preparing us for a wonderful trip. Ark was very informative and funny on the bus ride. Patrick created a fantastic video that will allow us to remember this great experience. Highly Recommend Adventures on the Gorge! Huge Thank You to Greg for the great conversation and guiding us through the great rapids (keeping us safe), getting soaked and allowing us to fist bump Patrick multiple times. Hopefully we will be back next year!

We did a full day trip on the Lower New River, and Ark was our guide. Not only were the rapids so much fun (and getting to jump off that huge rock), but he was probably the best guide I’ve ever had on any type of guided outdoor adventure I’ve done so far. Not only was he funny, but his knowledge of the river and especially the history of the mining towns and the area and West Virginia in general was simply unmatched!!! So great to be in amazement of the rapids and the gorge AND the history as well while on the calmer parts of the river. Amazing and unforgettable experience.

Absolutely one of the best experiences of my life!! I totally recommend jumping off the rock as it was exhilarating! Aaron was the best guide and he created an epic whitewater experience, especially for this who had never rafted before!
