Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. The main show tells the amazing story of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku “child of the new land." Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

Such a fun experience! The food was delicious and the show was great! It was cool to watch the story unfold through all the hula and fire dancing.

All the Dancing plus Fire show was Awesome. I wish there is vegan dessert. everything else was great. my whole family enjoyed ❤Thank you it was very well managed 😊🌹🌹

The show, the train and the entertainment was fantastic. The food however was disappointing. I thought there would be more Hawaiian dishes offered, more choice and more food period. We took the train ride which we enjoyed very much but when we got to our table the other guests had already consumed all the salad. We actually left the Luau hungry and went home to eat.. everything else was wonderful..but If I do it again I will look for a larger variation of the islands foods.
