Wielkie przygody
Następnie pojedziemy do czubka lodowca, aby założyć buty i kaski i rozpocząć pieszą eksplorację lodowca. To jedyna w życiu okazja do eksploracji lodu lodowcowego!

This is the perfect culmination of a visit to Alaska. We saw glaciers from the cruise ship in glacier bay and college fjord. We got close enough to photograph, but not close enough to walk on any. Matanuska was about a 2-hour drive from our hotel in anchorage. Bill picked us up promptly. Contact with the company before we departed got fast and clear responses. They supplied warm boots for us and cramp-ons for traction on the ice. Bill was an awesome group leader—-request him!! He shared interesting info with us on the drive to the glacier and while we hiked on The glacier. Greatland adventures gave us clear instructions on what to bring, so we were fully prepared. We hiked About 2-3 miles (and about 2 hours) on the glacier. Bill gaged our individual abilities and assisted where needed and he paced the hike so it was comfortable for us. Then we had lunch at a Local restaurant overlooking the glacier. I highly recommend greatland adventures, this particular excursion, and Bill, our guide.

I would highly recommend greatland adventures for the Matanushka Glacier Tour. Our tour guide Mike was super knowledgeable and friendly. He made the tour very fun and interesting. The company provided all equipment, including ski pants, jackets, gloves, hats, boots for the hike. They also provided lunch at a restaurant with a beautiful view of the glacier. We spent about 2-3 hours on the glacier. My fiancé proposed to me on this tour and both Steve and Mike were very cooperative and helped him find the perfect spot.
