My daughter and I had a great time on our food tour with John. He introduced us to some great food and had a lot of interesting stories about the Atlanta landmarks along the way. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of food provided...the tour ended at 4 pm and we didn't eat anything for the rest of the day! I highly recommend this tour!

Thank You, S.!! Not only did you and your daughter have a sweet time together but you also took the time to write a review. Here's hoping that TA readers know that a Food Tour is a really wonderful way to spend quality time with those we love...and miss. Meet in Atlanta. Hang out together in Midtown. Tasting! Sipping! What a FINE time we had in Midtown at today's Peachtree Food Tours! John, our docent, was perfect! A born storyteller, he gave us the insider's view of his beloved 'hood. We started with what has to be THE BEST DONUT BURGER ever from Cypress Street Pint & Plate. (I can hear you now... Donut? on a BURGER??? Oh, yeah! And it was worth the price of the whole tour!) We continued the delicious afternoon with kale noodle salad & peanut bourbon cokes; shrimp & grits paired with a slice of fried green tomato and a Georgia Mule; fried chicken/collards/mashed potatoes and blanc de blanc; awesome flourless chocolate cake and specialty coffees; and, to take home, some beautiful Asian pastries. The only stop John needs to add is at a realtor's desk for some sales materials for condos. We gained a new respect for Midtown and all that is happening there. PFT is an excellent way to get to know the area and enjoy a few of its excellent eateries. I recommend it highly!

C. - When I think back on our day together, I can't imagine having the same "experience" if there were others in the group. With just the three of us, the dynamics allowed for some very honest, thoughtful conversations. Wow! We had a time! (And we should do this again!) As veteran TA folks, your wonderful review is much appreciated! You two are local (and have been for awhile! Ha! ) so when I heard B. say, "I didn't know that!", I had to grin! And then we were off to the races, comparing notes on who had done what....and where...and when! Re: your wonderful business advice, the wheels are in motion! My guests have always been those objective advisors that have the best questions.....and I would be amiss not to seek those answers! My best to you both and I sure hope to see you soon!

When I Googled “Things to do in Atlanta”, a Food Tour was the furthest thing from my mind. I’m neither a connoisseur of food, nor a big eater. But when I started reading all the reviews of John’s tour, I saw that it was much more than a tour of restaurants with a singular emphasis on food. I saw from the reviews that John’s tours were informative and fun. In fact, John limits the size of his groups to be sure that his tours don’t “get to be like work”. We learned all about the history and growth of Mid-Town Atlanta and how Coca Cola and many others played such a big part in its development. We learned about the huge number of restaurants in Mid-Town and stopped at 6 of them to sample the food. John chose restaurants and food at each one that was unique in some way and extremely fun! In many of our previous travels, my wife and I have enjoyed ourselves but the memories faded quickly when the realities of getting back to work came into play. However John helps keep the memories alive by taking pictures of the restaurants, the group, and the food we sampled, then taking the time to send them to everyone in the group. If you’re visiting Atlanta and would like to learn about the historic growth of Mid-Town from a local who lives right on Peachtree, then Peachtree Food Tours is the place to go. My wife and I heartily recommend him!

P. (and A.), What a lovely review! We spoke on the phone a number of times before the Tour about the "special" occasion that you had planned for your Atlanta weekend so our wandering, and chatting was like getting together with a dear friend. I am sure that the next time that you two drive over to my neighborhood we'll be having dinner together. (And....I just might have some food and fun suggestions that are not on the Tour!)
