I and my two sisters went on the hot air expedition on 16th September. I have just found the Hot Air Expeditions business card and thought I should submit a review. I’d always wanted to do a balloon ride but didn’t really know what to expect, I needn’t have worried the whole experience was awesome and well organised. The trip from the hotel was an enjoyable and informative ride, our driver was friendly and very personable. The hot air ballon ride was a fantastic experience, the basket was not over crowded and our guide really knew his stuff and put everyone at ease. Needless to say the views over the desert were great and it was lovely seeing the sun come up. Great experience with a wonderful company.

We had a great time. We gathered at a designated parking lot at Deer Valley Airport, then were driven to the launch site north of Carefree Highway. This is a popular spot with balloons from several companies ascending together and adding to the spectacle. We drifted south over the desert for about an hour as our pilot pointed out the sights and wildlife. We set down where the chase vehicle was waiting to set up a fine champagne brunch.
