Bobby was a great driver who seems to love his job and his one-liners. He managed to make even the construction detour fun. We were a bit irritated that our booked 9 am tour was moved to 11 am only going 1.5 hours prior, which caused us to move other day’s events in a hurry. We were told later that the drivers didn’t want to drive early in the morning. Mt Vernon is beautiful!

Driver was difficult to understand especially with his mask on, speaking with an accent and no PA system inside the van. The van ventilation system wasn’t on and was stuffy. No windows were open. Lots of walking with some steep incline or steps. Made it difficult for many of the seniors in our group. We saw shuttle signs along the roads, but no shuttle service was seen. Mount Vernon Restaurant closed early at 5:00 pm and we couldn’t have a meal in the dining room. The Mansion tour was excellent with very informative personnel working there. The flute player was exceptional at the Memorial for the estate’s slaves who are buried there.

We had a wonderful tour with Dr Ali zohery!!! Very knowledgeable and friendly! We took another tour with his company the next day. Mr Bobby was the BEST!!! Great driver, narrator and all around funny man! Very helpful with my mom and aunt they allowed us to bring moms walker which we really appreciated!
