The route we take on the Cumberland is approximately 3 miles and usually takes around 90 minutes, depending on the current speed and weather conditions. My boyfriend and I had been wanting to try stand up paddle boarding for sometime, and we came across many websites in Nashville. The name "Big Willie's" stuck out to us so we decided to research this company a little more. The website was being revamped so I had to reserve by phone. The company was very communicative and honest - this was their first weekend reopening so they had different kinks to work out, but would love to have us. During the tour, the guide was informal, which we liked. It felt like you were paddle boarding with a friend. The guided provided us with drinks throughout the trip and also took pictures. It was a great time and I would recommend Big Willie's for a group that likes to go with the flow and is able to pick up sports easily.

Big Willie tour was great . I've lived in Nashville for over 5 years and this was my first time experiencing the tour and I definitely will be back . This is a perfect thing to do if you are visiting or if you live here . The views are incredible and since you are going with the current of the river you have the option to sit down and relax on your board or motor down the river . It only took us an hour 1/2 to complete the tour and we had a full group mixed with a bachelor party and a couple of families . It was great to do something outdoors but also once you are done you are literally on Broadway so you can pick up where you started if you are looking to spend some time down on the strip . The guides were really great too - we had Kate as our guide and she was very informative, laid-back, & smoking hot . Treat yo self to a great time in the Music City!

I loved seeing downtown Nashville with these guys. My friends and I were greeted Downtown about 10 minutes after the designated meet time. Both of the host were friendly. The van that took us to the drop site did not have air conditioning but the air circulation provided relief from the heat. Once we made it to the drop site (10 minute trip) there was a quick demo/tutorial. The river was wonderful and the host provided a great pace.
