This neighborhood and its cemetery tells the story of New Orleans from the Louisiana Purchase to the Civil War. Stunning antebellum mansions, lush gardens, unforgettable stories, and beautiful photo opportunities await! We keep our group size under 12 guests to make in a fun, personal experience.

We visited New Orleans for the first time with our young kids. We wanted to see the Garden District but also learn more broadly about the history of New Orleans. This was ideal. The kids enjoyed the stories and climbing over the roots of the old oak trees. We learned a ton.

Thanks for this excellent review! I love climbing around the old live oak trees and my kids love it too! The Garden District is peaceful, charming, historical, but by no means boring, and without visiting it and hearing its stories, a visitor has missed a huge part of what makes this city so special. We are so happy that you brought your family to learn about this gracious part of town, and we look forward to your next visit. The kids need to see the Tree of Life in Audubon Park!

I visit new orleans every year and have been on Many Tours. Josh was so knowledgable and welcomed questions. He was a fantastic tour guide . I would take a tour with him again!

This was a wonderful way to get to know New Orleans. We had an enjoyable walking tour, with lots of tidbits of information. Lots of historical info and lots of modern day facts as well. James was fun and kept us all engaged in conversation. Group size was small, so everyone could hear what James had to say.

James is really funny and likes the whole group to participate, so you can bet he will be listening to where you are from and what you are interested in when he gives a tour. Of course, the small group helps this along, and leads to a great experience and a deeper understanding of what New Orleans is all about. Gardens, tombs, gossip, architecture, American history, celebrities, taxidermy, and food - its all there! See y'all next time! Libby
