We purchased 12 tickets for the Landmarks Tour / Premier seating. A significant dollar increase to have 'reserved' soft seating in a specific area, however, the best viewing is outside, which our guests were not told. By the time all realized that to see the excellent views they needed to be outside, there were no seats available. Some opened up later on when others came inside, but not enough for all to be together. Also, the premier seating was supposed to have wait staff. It took a long time to get drinks, the menu didn't list drinks available and one guest had to track down the server at the end of the cruise as she never returned with change.
That said - DON'T BOTHER WITH THE UPGRADED TICKET - JUST ARRIVE EARLY! - the cruise is worthwhile for any NYC visitor to see a unique perspective of this area; and the tour guide was informative, approachable, and entertaining.
