My family took boat tour in April 2018. We had excellent views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Brooklyn Bridge during the boat tour. We also saw much of the west and south sides of Manhattan as well as parts of Brooklyn. We only got a quick glance at the U.N., however, as the boat turned around too early for decent photos.
Our tour guide, Joe, was knowledgeable and had a definite New Yorker tone. While my husband and I found Joe to be interesting and slightly funny, our tween age children tuned him out for the most part.
The boat was very clean. Food service was good but slow. Point of departure is easy walking distance to Times Square.
