Your guide will lead your group out to the springs and explain the most ideal viewing locations, where you can wait for a chance to glimpse the multicolored display in the sky. Round-trip transport from Fairbanks or North Pole hotels, entry to the ice museum and hot springs is included.

Note: the resort does not allow children under 18 in the outside rock pool. However, they may use the indoor pool under adult supervision.

  • We have enough room for a foldable wheelchair. The hot springs are wheelchair accessible.
  • We can only pick up from inside the city limits of Fairbanks or North Pole. For other locations, you will need to go to an agreed location (eg Walmart), please contact our office to discuss if you are staying outside the city limits.
  • Water is not supplied for this tour. We recommending bringing a refillable water bottle.

Highly recommend this tour!!! I got lucky and chose a perfect clear, high index night. Great drive to Chena Hot Springs. Saw a moose eating in a lake. Great dinner at the resort, fab time in the hot springs and saw the northern lights! Our guide Ken was great! He shared a lot about interior Alaskan culture, and shared pictures from his camera as mine could not capture the brilliant northern lights! This tour exceeded my expectations!

This tour was the highlight of our Northern Lights vacation! Ken was a wonderful guide, very passionate about Fairbanks, Alaska, about the Alaskan culture and loves the Aurora as much as we do! We enjoyed the Ice Museum and the hot springs, but seeing the Aurora was a bucket list moment!! Highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide, Grace, was prompt in picking us up at the hotel. She was very personable, telling us many interesting facts about Alaska, it’s wildlife and the culture of Alaska. The Chena Hot-Spring was relaxing, the ice house interesting. We were surprised to see a female moose with her calf while trying to see the northern lights! Grace was quick in getting us to a safe area, where we observed the two of them for about10 minutes. We eventually got to see the Northern Lights, but only for a few minutes. I would recommend this tour!
