The views are great and the elevator experience is awesome. But, do NOT rent one the the I pads they try to get you to use. They are outdated with their identifiers and ours ran out of battery. Also the bar at the top requires a reservation.

A MAZE ING…. We chose to do this on our last night in NY, I’m so glad we did because the weather was perfect, we chose the right time to go to be able to watch the sun set and the lights of the city start to sparkle, I got better pictures as the sun was going down, there was too much light inside the observatory that reflected off the glass to get decent pictures as it got dark, however it was a beautiful sight to see and take in, this is an absolute must for a visit

During my recent trip to NYC, I made sure well ahead to book a day to visit the One World Observatory. I purchased my tickets on groupon (so should you). Before booking try to check the weather because if it gets cloudy, you will not be able to see the views below. Recommended time is between 4-6 PM. For the the photography folks, bring your lens and batteries, you will have to go through security of course before you are allowed further into the building. I recommend arriving early to also visit the 9/11 memorial which is below (no admission needed) Their is a restaurant/bar and souvenir shop above with clean bathrooms. I recommend getting a beer flight for the beer drinkers which you can select 4 of the 6. Overall, highly recommended for all age groups for the breath taking views!
