Your host will be a Terra Overland off-road Adventure Guide who will chauffeur the vehicle, share knowledge about your adventure, answer questions, and provide off-road driving instruction* and techniques necessary to traverse the particular terrain of the Adventure you choose.

Best day of our vacation! They did a fantastic job of crafting a day of fun and teaching us how to overland. Highly recommend them! It would be even more fun to come back and go camping with them!

This trip was an absolute blast! Terra Overland has its act together in every respect. Shaun and Dawn are very personable and responsive to every customer need. They do the planning and the work, and you do the enjoying. We had a family group of 8 including 5 kids aged 8 to 13. We all loved it. I think Shaun and Dawn enjoyed the squeals of joy from the kids (and the adults) as much as we did. Getting muddy along with the jeeps is the quintessential off-roading takeaway. EMBRACE THE SPLATTERS! Going when the forest is wet only enhances the fun. You will remember and recount this adventure for years. Just do it!

This is one of my top three experiences in the past ten years and is something I will always remember with a smile. Shawn and Dave were our guides for the day and made us feel welcome and included right from the start. They gave us an exceptionally thorough intro to features and safety features of the vehicles and made sure we were confident with the basics before we went any further. We started with some driving around base camp, getting to grips with the vehicles and doing some team work exercises to guide over obstacles. We stopped off at the local co-op to pick up some supplies for lunch and one of our party delighted in the co-op and finding a new cap as a memory of his trip as much as anything else! Then, it was off to the mountains to explore and have a truly awesome off-road driving experience, in every sense of the word. The surroundings are exceptionally beautiful. This is something truly spectacular to see from the winding roads as you drive up, expertly guided by Shawn and Dave every bit of the way. We were able to do several obstacles on our tour, guiding each other across. It was a challenge whilst being fun and a lovely shared experience. If you’re lucky, you might get to drive through sone pretty deep puddles - they are awesome fun! We stopped for some food and enjoyed the view and chats with Shawn and Dave and then we’re off again to reach the top of the trail for the day. The time absolutely flew by and we both agreed that it was one of the best experiences both of us have ever had - and we’ve been fortunate to do a lot of awesome things, my friends, so the bar is set pretty darn high. Shawn and Dawn (also a team member) truly went above and beyond in the preparation for our visit, recommending places to visit on our drive from Washington DC - which were all spot on and very much appreciated - and really making the effort to learn about us and what kind of experience we were looking for. Words cannot do this experience justice - you need to get out there, get in that driver’s seat and experience it for yourself. We’ll definitely be back for another experience with Terra Overland. The story of the business is one that makes you glad you booked and reminds you what’s important in life - I’ll leave that for Shawn to share when you meet him. All employees are currently co-owners of the business and your booking really is helping to build an incredible company. Thank you Shawn, Dawn, and Dave, you gave us a truly incredible experience that we’ll remember forever. PS - Get Alpha if you can 😉
