Join us on a breathtakingly beautiful, private and guided adventure throughout the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains in one of our State-of-the-Art Overland Jeep Rubicons in total comfort. Your host will be a Terra Overland off-road Adventure Guide who will chauffeur the vehicle, share knowledge about your adventure, answer questions, and provide off-road driving instruction* and techniques necessary to traverse the particular terrain of the Adventure you choose.

Definitely, the best part of our vacation! Sean and Dawn are so passionate about what they do and it shows in every aspect of this experience. I can't say enough great things about them and what we experienced. The views were amazing and Sean's knowledge of not only Jeeps, but the world around him and his love of it are so refreshing and encouraging. I have always had a passion for the beauty our world possesses, but Sean makes you see it in a completely different way and it's hard to stay inside knowing all the beauty that awaits you. Dawn was so kind and answered every stupid question I had and incredibly patient. I told Sean she is such a great representation of their company and she felt like a friend without ever meeting her. I would go back to Virginia just to see them. It's important to note that we had a person with us that's very fearful of highway driving and was really concerned about this excursion. Dawn really calmed her nerves and she had the best time. Even wanted to sit in the front seat at one point, which is a huge breakthrough. We also had two teenage boys with us that really enjoyed the experience as well. In addition, the knowledge that Sean shared with us I'm sure they will carry with them forever.

Fantastic experience!! The entire process was was great! Shawn, Dave, and Dawn did everything they could do to make our day happen for us! I’ve done some off roading before, but this was above and beyond my expectations. Dave, our guide, was really informative and friendly, felt more like I was out wheelin’ with a buddy than a guide. We travelled up the Union Springs trail stopping whenever we wanted for my daughter to take pictures. Stopped and had lunch at one of the campsites, Dave set up the table and a couple super comfy fold up chairs that actually rocked! From there we proceeded to climb the mountain and hit the mud bogs, which was awesome! Almost to the end of the trail, Dave pointed out a rock wall that apparently used to be an Indian/Colonial trading post. He said there was remnants of the original foundation at the top of the mountain, so I asked if we could go explore it. He was ecstatic that we wanted to, lol! We discovered that it wasn’t on top of the mountain, it was right there behind the wall just off the trail. We found original stairs, a fireplace, a few different walls and construction dating from colonial times to as late as the 1900’s. This was just a magnificent trip, topped off with the scenic view from atop Reddish Knob, which I took my wife back up to for the sunset that evening!! Can’t say enough good things about Dave, Shawn, and Dawn who make up Terra Overland!! Thank you guys!!

Don't pass on this amazing opportunity! My wife and I are return clients and recently experienced another awesome adventure with Shawn, trekking through GW National Forest in the most capable Jeep I have ever driven!!! We elected to do a more tailored experience this time building on my previously acquired skills of rock crawling and more technical trail riding. Shawn really elevated my off-road confidence and proficiency. Our last encounter was in Winter and it was entirely different this time being that is was Summer. It will never the same experience twice due to weather, seasons, trail conditions etc. This adventure is for EVERYONE...beginners, intermediate, or advanced off-roaders! If your friends have a Jeep, and you'd like to join them without all the expense and maintenance costs, then this is for you. If you have a personal 4WD that you are unsure if it will make the local trails then this is a great way to check things out before potentially risking scratches or bumps to your daily driver (I have had F-150 4WDs for over 20 years and was always concerned about damaging my primary vehicle, so this is a perfect situation for us). If you want a highly experienced guide/trainer/scout teach you the off-road ropes and the trails in the area, then this is for you...If you just want to go on your own and camp/explore overnight and find your own paths, then this is for you. These jeeps have EVERYTHING you could possibly need...even a refrigerator!!! We'll be back again as soon as we get more vacation time! Thanks again Shawn and Dawn for another great time...and the cupcakes :-)
