Zestaw Premier Whale Watch i Mendenhall Glacier

Przegląd
Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. You get 1.5 hours at the park, but don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

  • Tour time is a check-in time; departure is within 15 to 30 minutes.
  • The meeting place is under the cables in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
  • All ports or docks are within 10 minutes walking distances, except one - the A Dock - which provides a “Downtown” shuttle to the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the name of their ship
  • A moderate amount of walking is involved.
  • No food is allowed at the Mendenhall Glacier.
  • Tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately in layers and for the likely chance of rain. It is recommended that you wear warm layered clothing, a waterproof jacket and comfortable slip-proof shoes

We went out with captain Lance and his crew of Dave and Kris. We had great weather -- excellent visibility and no rain. We can't give them credit for that, but they got us to the whales, and Dave and Chris provided excellent commentary and guidance throughout the experience. The action was fast and furious! We saw about 20 whales, including mamas and young. We witnesses splashing of flippers and several tail displays. We highly recommend them for a great whale watching experience. The glacier is a must see site, and our ticket got us transportation to and from the park.

I wish I could give them 6 stars. We had a perfect blue sky sunny day and Captain Kara took us to spots where we saw so many whales! Danielle was so knowledgable and her enthusiasm was infectious. It was an amazing afternoon. I would highly recommend this tour.

So many whales. Knowledgeable, incredibly friendly staff. Super kid friendly. The best thing we did in Juneau. Highly recommend!!
