A good service; comfortable car and pleasant driver. However, picked up at 15.35 for a 19.40 flight which everyone told us was 45 minutes too early!
Overall the airport transfer was satisfactory. The driver was early for the 2.45pm pickup however parked outside the wrong apartment in 9th Street. I had to go and seek out and confirm that this was our booking. The driver was satisfactory however he did apply the brakes to the vehicle quite strongly throughout the journey that even though there was heavy traffic, this could have been avoided. The driver knew exactly where to drop us off at Terminal 7 JFK.
Our flight plans changed due to cancelled flights. We had to change airlines and instead connecting thru Chicago to La Guardia, we had to connect thru Dallas. I called the car company long distance from Dallas to let them know this and also explained that the flight kept getting delayed so didn't know when we would be arriving at La Guardia. I asked if they track the flight arrivals and was told "No, call back when I know what the arrival time would be". I called them long distance again from Dallas a 2nd time to let them know that the flight was ready to board and we should be at La Guardia at a certain time. However, we ended up sitting on the run way for quite awhile and arrived at La Guardia later than expected. When we arrived, our car wasn't there so I called a third time. They asked me if I had switched airlines, I replied yes, then they asked if I had notified them of this change. I told them that I had called them twice from Dallas and they had no record of this. They told us they would be 15 minutes and to wait outside in the middle island pick up area and look for a car number. After about 15 mins, we saw that car number drive past without stopping and had to flag him down in the middle of the road.
