We were not impressed with the service at all. We followed the instructions has requested, firstly we confirmed with the New York office that we would be flying into Boston on the delta flight DL 187 on the 26th Sept. secondly on arriving in Boston (on time) we rang the despatcher that we had arrived on flight Delta DL 187, he instructed us to go to the Limo stand and that our driver would be there in 2 minutes. However some 20
minutes later we had to ring again as there was no sign of the driver, the despatcher asked which terminal we were at, we told him E (which is the correct terminal for international Delta arrivals),he had sent the
driver to terminal A ( which is used for Deltas domestic flights ), and that the driver would be there in 5 minutes. He actually arrived 25minutes later.
Once in the car the driver wasted no time in telling us that we would have to pay the tolls (which we knew) and a gratuity.
On arrival at the hotel I asked How much the toll was he responded by saying U$8.50 and U$14.50 gratuity! I was under the impression that gratuities were at my discretion, and usually for GOOD service.
Service was good, but way too expensive. $48 plus another $18 to the vendor. We took a cab back to the airport for less than $25.00.
Phoned operator and driver got there in a few moments.
