1) Paid for a ride from JFK to NYC on Sunday night, including tip and tolls. Called when we landed. Dutifully went to meeting point. Called 2x more and were finally told that no driver was available for more than 20 minutes. Cancelled and took a cab, vowing never to use Carmel again.
2) They sent a $12 off coupon. Decided to give them another try for the return trip. Pickup and drop off were no problem.
3) However, the driver couldn't take the coupon. Phoned (I'm at the airport with short time) and was on hold/bounced from person to person until I finally gave up, paid the driver cash (he couldn't get my perfectly acceptable credit card to work), and SERIOUSLY, will never use them again.
