Escape the ordinary, just 8 miles from the French Quarter! Relax and leave your cares behind while you explore the lake side of New Orleans on a private 2 hour sail. Hop aboard a 47' luxury Beneteau sailboat called "Roux Stir", named for our love of a heartwarming New Orleans gumbo. Maximum 6 guests please.

Once onboard, all guests receive complimentary white wine, local craft beer, and light snacks. Listen to the boat glide through the water or enjoy your favorite tunes via Spotify.

Enjoy a 2 hour invigorating sail on the Southshore of historic & expansive Lake Pontchartrain, where you may spot a brown pelican flying overhead, and see the longest bridge in the world over water, the Causeway.

Captain Doug, a local New Orleanian with a passion for sailing, will ensure your safety. All proper safety equipment, life vests, and clean restrooms onboard.

We had a wonderful time. My wife and I booked a sunset sail to celebrate our fourth anniversary. Pick up was smooth. The boat is beautiful. Captain Greg and his daughter were great. They made us feel at home. Chatted when we felt like it and gave us space too. Weather was perfect. So relaxing. Highly recommend the experience.

I booked the sunset cruise as a surprise birthday gift for my Hubby and it was absolutely wonderful! Rena & Captain Doug are a delightful couple and had us feeling relaxed and pampered in no time. Rena provided many special little touches and made sure we were always comfortable. Captain Doug is a seasoned sailor and we eagerly took in his expertise and adventures. Their sailboat the Roux Stir is absolutely stunning as was the sunset on beautiful Lake Pontchartrain!
