Choose your own adventure! You pick the distance (6-10 miles on average), terrain, scenery, and difficulty for a spectacular day in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Abundant waterfalls, the highest peaks east of the Mississippi, and the prettiest views you'll find in the South are all at your disposal off the Blue Ridge Parkway, on the Appalachian Trail, or hidden deep Pisgah National Forest.

Price includes your guide and a picnic lunch; please specify dietary restrictions when booking. Trekking poles are provided upon request. Transportation is not included, but can be added for an additional fee (depending on availability).

We hike rain or shine! We will cancel the hike in the event of dangerous weather.

Blue Ridge Hiking Company has been in business for 13 years; we believe the trail is there for everyone at every phase of life. All guides are certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR, and knowledgeable in local history, flora, and fauna. Check out our website for more information!

This is our third summer using Blue Ridge Hiking Co. We have used them for backpacking and hiking and each time the trips are thoughtfully planned out to ensure they cater to the type of trip/hike desired. Great service and very professional team!

I went on an all day hike with my spouse and our wonderful guide Bev MacDowell. It was a fantastic day which took us to Sam’s knob and other scenic locations. We were blown away by the beauty of the the Blue Ridge Mountains and enjoyed the exercise and lively conversation! I highly recommend this hike to anyone who wants to get great exercise and explore the area.

Great experience. We went out to the blue ridge mountains on a private guided hike with Traci our guide for the day, who gave us options of what we would like to cover ..We started out with a bit of clouds but the view as we hiked was stunning .. time flew by but the experience of it was just beautiful. We shared great stories with each other.. the weather was just perfect today.. but great company always makes it all the more enjoyable…this has really opened me up to doing more hikes and coming back to Asheville 😍 thanks Traci for making our day special and also for the beautiful Instagram pics .. our guide / photographer for the day ☺️
