Savannah Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil Opowiadana piesza wycieczka

Przegląd
Enjoy a small-group (15 guests maximum) deep dive into all things Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil! Led by a veteran journalist and long-time downtown Savannah resident, the two-hour tour provides the back-stories and up-close-and-personal insights into author John Berendt's book, director Clint Eastwood's movie of the same name, and the rich Savannah history surrounding them both. You'll stop at several sites where the story unfolds, including the Hamilton-Turner Inn, Clary’s Cafe, and Mercer-Williams House; you'll also get the scoop on the story's unique array of characters, from Jim Williams to Minerva to Joe Odom to Nancy Hillis to Moe Fetzer -- and everyone in between!

Fabulous tour. Our tour guide Martin was excellent. His knowledge of the subject was 2nd to none. He engaged everyone and I felt very much at ease talking to him too.

There is so much history in Savannah, in addition to the information shared about the book and movie, that the six of us are all planning on watching the movie, and half are re-reading the book.

This was a very entertaining walk. Not only did we learn about the real people involved in the real story but also about the author of the book, the characters in the book and the actors in the movie. Our tour guide gave us lots of information about where these people lived and some history about Savannah as well. I highly recommend this tour. I'm ready to go back home and watch the movie again!
