oak alley plantation was amazing, travelling through history and experiencing how life was back in those times, our tour guide was fantastic and captain torres from the boat adventure was the best, he is a gator hunter himself and was more than happy to share his experiences, keep in mind alligators hibernate until march so you wont be able to see them if you travel after november-march, best month to see them is september during hunting season, food was good at the restaurant and they were very careful with our request since we are both allergic to seafood

The tour of the plantations was wonderful, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and we learned a lot. The lunch at Oak Alley was delicous. The weather didn't really corporate for the swamp tour and it was very cold and knowing what I know now I would not have done it in the winter (I didn't realize the alligators would be hibernating) but we still learned a lot about the swamps and marshes. All in all we were very pleased with the tour and would highly recommend it.

This was pretty much the highlight of our trip. I would definitely recommend spending a little extra money to take the airboat ride. I took my 11 year old niece and she had an amazing time. Our swamp guide was fantastic!!!!
