What a beautiful trip through the mountains and along the coast. Our driver, Captain Al, was full of knowledge of the history and culture wherever we stopped. His enthusiasm is contagious, and his sense of humor keeps the long drive entertaining. He made a great effort to stop at the most beautiful sites for photos and a chance to look around and take it in. The group was the perfect size, and I certainly wouldn’t want to try to drive that road myself! Lunch and snacks were included, with a final snack stop at the “halfway point” back home for some authentic banana bread and ice creams. Come prepared with plenty of questions, and Captain Al might make you his A+ student!

Our lunches are made fresh daily for our guests and sourced from local vendors, farms and suppliers. We are glad you enjoyed it. This trip was AMAZING! Gayle was an incredible tour guide and very knowledgeable about Maui, plant life, Hana, and the history of Hawaii. It was an excellent tour and we were very glad we did this instead of trying to navigate the road ourselves. Mahalo Gayle!!!

My wife and I, and 4 other passengers took the day trip to Hana with driver/guide Gayle Shufeldt. It was clear from the start that Gayle loves people, loves the road to Hana in its all facets and has a deep understanding of Hawaiian culture and its history. Her explanations, comments and observations made this trip most enjoyable and amazing!
