This unique experience to Saona Island offering for small groups of 14 pax.
In our experience we visit places not visited by the masses, we will take you to the town of Mano Juan, the only places inside the island where theres people leaving in a small community. Here we will know a community leader who run the turtle conservation area, we will have the time for learn about Turtle and how important they are for the planet. In Mano Juan, we will serve you a breakfast, with sandwiches, juices and fruits.
After Mano Juan Beach, We will be visiting Abanico Beach the most beautiful and famous beach and landscapes, white sands beaches, perfect beach for jump in the water and enjoy the Caribbean Sea of Dominican Republic. Beach chairs and open bar. Abanico Beach, Playa Abanico, here we will enjoy a private self service buffet lunch with Dominican Food. After lunch we will continue to Palmilla Beach to The Natural pools to see star fish. We finish at the reef doing snorkeling for see fish.

We had an amazing time and our tour guide was phenomenal! He was so knowledgeable and gave us lots of history and information on what we were seeing. Going to Mano Juan was so cool because we got to have a cultural tour and see more of the Dominican Republic that is not a tourist area. The only few things that I would criticize and they are small are: bring cash! We didn’t realize how helpful it would be to have cash. Also this excursion is ALL day. We got picked up at 5:45 am and we got back at 5:45 pm. We did not realize that we would be picking up more people along the way and that we wouldn’t even get to port until around 9. So I would be prepared to spend the whole day in the van and on the excursion. I would maybe make the excursion slightly shorter if I had to do it again. I could not recommend this tour more though. The criticism is minor on our part and more so only for people in the future to understand the day better. We felt like we got every single bit of our moneys worth on this.

Good morning Thanks for leave your review. It's important to mention that your hotel is in Uvero Alto Área not in Punta cana or Bávaro your hotel is 45 minutes from Punta Cana therefore we need to pick up at 5:45 am at that área for be able to develop our programm. The excursion is for small groups means more people will be with you is not a private excursion, that means you will with more people. You arrived at the port at 7:50 am and before the port we do one stop for use toilets,grab a coffee, stretch legs if it's need it that's 10 minutes before the port. It's writing in our description it's 45 minutes collecting 45 minutes in the van that's depending how many people we have in that day. Cash run better that credit car as I told to everyone the credit card transaction have a +18% of government taxes Again thanks again for reserve our experience, was nice to meet you. Me and my wife went on this tour 1 day ago and it was absolutely fantastic! It is a long day, we got picked up from our hotel at 6am and didn’t get back until 5pm, but you do and see so much it’s totally worth it. We have been on a lot of excursions on a lot of holidays and Melvin the guide for this tour was defiantly at the top as one of the best. He’s so knowledgable, friendly and made everyone feel so welcome and safe. But also the rest of his crew that helped out with the bus pick up/drop off and boats were also so lovely! The main beach we visited was the most beautiful beach both me and my wife have ever seen. If I was asked to draw a picture of my interpretation of paradise, it would be that beach on Saona island! Just stunning! The food and drink provided was also delicious. I know you can get tours to Saona island for cheaper than this one, but I honestly think you’d be silly to not go with Melvin. It is totally worth the price and then some! Everything felt so much more personalised because it was a smaller group, other tours put you on a huge party catamaran with 50+ people and I just don’t feel like you’d get the full experience that way! Huge thank you to Melvin and the team for giving us a day we won’t forget! 😊 I will definitely be recommending this excursion to anyone I know visiting the Dominican Republic!

Good Morning Chris Was very nice to meet you and your wife. Thanks for your words about us, really thanks. We always try to do our best for our guest to enjoy a beach day with all the facilities. Saona Island is very beautiful to enjoy the experience with less people create a completely different experience rather than be in a catamaran with 200 spring breakers jumping around :) There's a lot of excursion to Saona cheaper that's correct because their logistic and programm it's different to our goals., Each company create their own program basic on their needs.
