Experience the Sonoma wine region in a unique way – on a San Francisco-style trolley, for an open-air ride through rustic, sun-kissed Sonoma Valley. Stop at 3 different wineries to sip and swirl fine Northern California varietals. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour. On this tour, your friendly and knowledgeable guide will take you to three wineries for tastings. You will visit Sonoma's top historic landmarks and enjoy lunch during one of the scenic stops. The tour starts at 10:00 and and ends around 4:30.

This was a wonderful tour! We had a small group, so we were in an SUV (which felt very luxurious and much like a private tour). Our tour guide, Leif, was very knowledgeable about the area and all of the wineries. We went to 5 wineries and all were different- ranging from small family owned vineyards to larger enterprises. All were wonderful and we got personalized attention at all of them. Leif took us on a stop to taste the best beef jerky I have ever had. The lunch from the Girl and the Fig was delicious and we were able to enjoy it outside at Gloria Ferrer winery while having a sparkling wine tasting. Leif and Sonoma Wine Trolley really went above and beyond to make our day wonderful. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sonoma. Thanks to Leif and Sonoma Wine Trolley for our favorite day of our vacation!

I would highly recommend The Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley . It was educational and a blast!! Lunch was excellent, and there was a nice variety of wineries on the tour.

We had an amazing time on this tour. The weather was supposed to be worse than it turned out, so we were chauffeured around in an escalade all day instead of the trolley which was a little disappointing at first but ended up being great. Our driver, Leif, was fantastic, full of knowledge and extraordinarily friendly. We ended up being able to fit in more wineries than originally planned due to the size of our group. The catered lunch was delicious also. We made some new friends and drank excellent wine! I would highly recommend this tour, especially for newbies like us who didn't really know where to go on their own.

Thank you for the wonderful review. Here at the Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley we like to keep everyone safe and comfortable. In times of inclement weather, we may have to switch to an enclosed vehicle as you experienced. The good news is you stay dry and safe and the best news is its still the same fun filled tour.
