The entrance of SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is located on the Main Concourse Level of Manhattan’s Grand Central Terminal, inside Vanderbilt Passage.

All SUMMIT tickets are timed. You MUST arrive at your scheduled time, which is indicated on your ticket. SUMMIT operates at full capacity. You might not be able to get in if arriving more than 20 minutes after the time indicated on your ticket.

Any late arrival is subject to availability and a rescheduling fee

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Children age 5 and under are free with accompanying paid adult
Dress appropriately to avoid unwanted exposure on glass and mirrored floors. We recommend wearing pants, shorts or tights when possible.
Wear comfortable shoes. Stiletto heels, steel toe boots, sports cleats and other footwear that can damage mirrored flooring are not permitted.
Outside food and beverage, smoking or e-cigarettes, large packages, suitcases, or weapons of any kind will not be permitted beyond the security checkpoint.
There is no storage for person items. Large bags, large backpacks and luggage are not permitted.

Terrible experience. Not sure if typical or not, but they WAY oversold the tickets for the day we went. Waited in line for over an hour (after our “timed” ticket). Very long lines to get to the elevator. Decent views, the bubble room was a letdown. By then we were just ready to leave. The picture aspect of the experience was again time consuming and we gave up. Waited another 30 min to get down. I’ve done many of these type experiences and this was a waste of half our last day in the city.

The views are stunning but the logistics are very unorganized. With our timed ticket we waited over an hour to get on the elevator. There seemed to be an issue with elevators and we were brought to a back hallway and elevator. While the views were great the experiences were underwhelming. Then a 30 minute wait to get elevator back to the concourse level. Save your money and head to the Freedom Tower instead.

The queues and waiting are very bad, whilst the experience is good, if I had known about the queuing I wouldn't have booked. You can get similar views elsewhere.
