We booked a timed entry for 4:30 PM, but we were only able to go up at 5:30 PM after facing endless lines, all of which clearly showcased how disorganized this event was. It felt like a grand festival of queues, with completely unprepared staff. After enduring several useless attractions — since the view is the only thing truly worth it — we were led to a completely absurd bar with another massive line just to exit.
My companion, who suffers from vasovagal syndrome, experienced hypotension during the long wait to leave. I asked for assistance, but one staff member told me there was nothing they could do except offer water and told us to wait for the elevator. I requested some kind of support — a chair or anything to help stabilize her blood pressure — as we were stuck in an overheated space with a thousand people crammed into a tiny area making endless queues. The lack of preparedness for emergencies was shocking and deeply disappointing.
If you have a family member with any kind of medical condition, think twice before visiting this place. I filed a complaint with the New York BBB because of the complete lack of service they provided.
