When it comes to Colorado whitewater, hardly anyone knows about the San Miguel River. Which is kind of a surprise! Given how much fun it is, on top of being in proximity to bougie and beloved Telluride.

The rafting section is gorgeously scenic, exciting for all experience levels, and pretty much a must if you want to spend the morning like a local. Its red sandstone canyon juxtaposed by flourishing pine forests make for a picturesque setting to recreate on this Rocky Mountain river.

Anyone who loves the outdoors will have an absolute hoot on this tour, whether it’s your first or hundredth time rafting. Just ask our guides, most— if not all!— will agree that the San Miguel is their favorite river to run.

The fact that our guide Ryder worked extremely hard to keep the ride for us extremely safe & fun made me feel super memorable. Highly recommend this company for white water rafting.

We took a large church youth group on the San Miguel half day white water rafting and everyone had the time of their lives! All six river guides were fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! I would absolutely go rafting with this company again.

So glad we did this excursion! Incredible! Amazing views! Our guides for the half day trip were Bananas (Joe C) & Corbin! Bananas was our guide in our raft, but he made the experience even that more memorable! This trip was an hour and half and we were all beginners and had never rafted before. In our raft we were with Joe C., there were only 4 of us, so it allowed us to really have more of a personalized experience. It was one of main highlights for this trip, I would highly recommend this rafting group! Will definitely be doing again!
