So, I have MS and on arriving in Monteverde searched for an accessible way of seeing the rainforest. This tour seemed like the answer, as once at the first platform all I had to do was zip wire to the next! So I lied and signed the form to say I could hike 15 mins through the forest to the first tree platform. Me, hike? Ok, I'm small, so with my son and husband taking my weight from each side (aka carrying me) we managed it. Our wonderful guide Pedro decided we should be a private tour just the three of us and encouraged frequent rest breaks. He and his partner Keiver were superb in getting me round. I felt in very safe hands. Keiver is also a dab hand at filming from the zip wire and took some brilliant footage from my phone. He's a pro, Pedro assured me. He's never dropped a phone, yet... The best bit was the view over the canopy towards the Pacific ocean. Amazing! If you are nervous or less mobile I thoroughly recommend this tour. There are a couple of exciting bits that are optional (Tarzan swing and climb up a Strangler Fig Tree) that I sat out. Think of it as a good opportunity for a rest.

Wow, wow, WOW was this a great experience and a great company! The guides were excellent. Unlike the larger and glitzier zipline courses, this company is truly authentic (i.e., you start from a wooden hut in the forest) and takes you into the canopy. You are indeed zipping through the trees. This is NOT an amusement park ride - it is canopy zip lining at its best. As a more mature traveler, I was a bit concerned about the whole concept of ziplining. But, the guides were cautious and thorough, carefully explaining what we were doing and then guiding us through the 15 lines very professionally. We saw monkeys and several birds while zipping, which added to the experience. I loved it!!!

Absolutely loved the tour! Every single one of the guys were so helpful, professional and made it even more fun! They picked us up, we got changed and then did the tarzan swing, 7 zips, rappelled the tree (my favourite bit!!) then another 8 or so zips. The guys captured amazing pictures and videos on my phone, much better than I could have got. My partner is 6'5 and ~100kg and he always felt supported and safe. Last important point - it's amazing value! I've done another zip line in Costa Rica which was double the price but this was double the fun :)
