We are unique because we keep our group size limited to 20 people. This makes it comfortable and more of a VIP experience for our guests. Also marine life does not get overwhelmed and stressed by too many people in the water and they like to swim closer to our guests.

We also play music based on your taste. We even let you log on to the Bluetooth to play your favorite songs along the way.

We understand not everyone is a snorkeler so we put floating platforms out to lounge on that are attached to the boat if simply relaxation is your goal.

Once we were out to sea we had no worries! The crew was fantastic, as well as the main operator. Everyone was incredibly friendly and made the trip spectacular. They offered drinks and snacks on the boat to help with our journey to and from the docks. Our main lifeguard, Gretchen, was able to show us amazing sights and the photographer, Nina, captured some moments we’ll never forget. We saw sea turtles, a sea urchin, many beautiful colorful fish, and of course a coral reef. Our captain, Bian, played some music to keep us in high spirits and was very mindful when some people got seasick. Overall everyone was very friendly and kind; made the experience worthwhile!

I chose Charter Oahu for my first-time snorkeling adventure because of the stellar reviews. The experience I had was even better than the reviews! As a first-timer, I felt confident, but as soon as I got on the boat and met the crew, I knew I was in very capable, kind, and professional hands. Snorkeling with Charter Oahu was one of the best “nature” experiences of my life. I’m not in my twenties or thirties, but I am fit and active. The all-female crew was amazing. They were super helpful and excellent communicators. I had brought along my own snorkel and mask, and they provided ones for the rest of the group. They lent us all flippers, which were very helpful in moving through the water. Nina, part of the crew, was especially helpful as we snorkeled, offering me a larger “noodle” so I would be more buoyant. She also offered me a tether, so I could stay near her, which I readily accepted. I was amazed by the awesome turtles and fish I saw. Nina pointed out when the turtles surfaced to breathe. It was truly one of the most remarkable experiences of my life, and it was because of the crew of Charter Oahu. There were other boats around with lots of snorkelers which – of course – means less interaction with the crew. My group had 8-10 people. I bought the photo package from Angelina and was very, very pleased. Not only did she take clear, vivid photographs of turtles and fish, but she also took super photographs of me that I will always treasure. Just like the rest of the crew, Angelina was a delight to meet and work with. Thank you, Charter Oahu, for making an incredible memory for my first trip to Hawaii and first snorkel adventure. I tell all my friends that I swam with turtles! I’ll be back!
