I visited the park on 9/10, I stayed at the Universal Sheraton, so I got early entrance into the park which I took advantage of! We first went to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and immediately to the forbidden journey ride, this was one ride I definitely didn’t want to miss. I did the single rider line, which I’d highly recommend and walked right up, as I was next to get on, the ride broke down (I was later told it does this quite often), the employee was honest enough to tell me he had no idea when the ride would be back up, so I just got out of line as I didn’t want to wait an excessive amount of time with the ride not working. I went to the flight of the Hippogrif and then continued on with exploring the rest of Hogsmeade. Next we went to the backlot studio tour which was great, it was perfect how they combined history along with simulators and 3D, The Fast and the Furious ending was awesome! We then went to some of the shows which were the special effects show and animal actors which were fun and just long enough. After lunch I went on Minions (no single riders line) but the wait wasn’t too bad, after that I went back to check on the Harry Potter ride, it was working but wait time was 120 mins. We went down to the lower lot, which is kind of weird to get to bc there are like 5 sets of escalators you have to go down. The lower lot only has 2 rides, The Mummy (which was down) and Transformers, I went on transformers with the single riders line and it was like a 5 min wait. After that we went to the Water World show which had great stunts and effects and then went back to Harry Potter which I finally got to ride...and it was fun! Overall this park is great...way smaller than its Florida counterpart but still super fun, a day is more than enough time to experience it.
