Halim was outstanding. His knowledge and love for the Village and the food was demonstrated throughout the tour.
We visited had four large portion tastings.
At PUB Americana, we had Gator Bites. This Floridian favorite was served with a terrific roumalade sauce. The unique restaurant was in an old 1900s bank.
We then strolled through the park to hear legends of the past, see the riverfront, and a little history on a citrus grower of Cocoa.
Next was Ossorio Bakery and Café where we enjoyed Sara's Chicken Salad and hand-rolled croissant drizzled with house-made vinaigrette.
Strolling through town, we saw many murals and shops until the next tasting at Crydermans BBQ. A Texas-style prime beef brisket smoked in the pits out back!
Our last stop was Thai Thai Village
with pork drunken noodles with a fragrant Thai basil.
This food tour was a highlight of our weekend. Jamil is fantastic and shared so much with us. Great tour. Do this first so you can see the town and hit all the restaurant suggestions on your stay.
