Enjoyable kayaking experience. Good for beginners! We wasn't lucky with gators because of rain on previous day and chilly morning but we saw a lot of birds. Whitney plantation experience was depressing but absolutely necessary. Cold truth about slavery.

Learned so much from Nick about the animals and plant life in the swamp. LOVED seeing gators and birds (and yes, it’s totally safe!). Especially liked the emphasis on minimizing the impact on the environment. Lunch at B and C’s was great and the Whitney Plantation was a must-see. Highly recommend this well-run and enjoyable outing!

Our guide Nick was so knowledgeable about the swamp's ecosystem that it made the experience extremely enjoyable! Nick pointed out gators, birds, plant life and even a bald eagle. The swamp is serene and beautiful and seeing from a kayak was perfect. After the kayaking we went to B&C seafood for lunch. The Po'Boys and beer made an excellent lunch. We were not able to visit Whitney Plantation due to damage from Hurricane Ida, but we did tour beautiful Oak Alley. It was a long day but so worth it! Highly recommend!
