I thought the guided tour was in the museum. It was an outside tour. Very cold. Not a small group. Hard to hear the guide at times. Some misinformation. I had told the person I purchased tickets from that we had Broadwaytickets that night. I thought the tour was inside the museum with extra time to spend on our own. Wrong,
Despite the frigid cold, blustery weather in NYC, KCristin's 9/11 input was well received by my great nephew and me! Doing this on our own would have been lacking incite, personalism and history. We would also have missed certain locations important to 9/11. This is the second viator tour I have taken. The first was in Lisbon, Portugal. No doubt, I would search for same company elsewhere in my adventures.
This was definitely one of our favorite but yet very sad tours we did during our 5 days in NYC. Our tour guide was amazing. She was a native of NY and had a lot of connections to this tragedy. The tour started at St. Peter's Church and continued around the block where she described what happen that day. I would suggest that everyone take this tour before touring the museum.
