Early morning (0800 or 0830) start recommended. • End location: Agreed Location within Alexandria City Limits, Arlington County, or District of Columbia (Washington City). • Location options: Address or Intersection upon Traveler's request, Airport, Cruise Ship Port, Hotel, Monument/Building upon Traveler's request, Rail or Bus Station • Transportation Method: Private SUV (2017 Buick Enclave) to and from the cemetery. We booked Tom for both a monument tour and an Arlington Cemetery tour for our family. I can’t say enough good things about Tom. He was obviously knowledgeable but even more impressive was how thoroughly he was prepared. For our monument tour we had rain forecasted and he had rain ponchos for us and planned the tour so that we could wait out the 15 minute rain storm under cover at the Lincoln memorial. For Arlington Cemetery he positioned is perfectly for the changing of the guard ceremony and helped us visit the grave of our relative. Tom was able to keep all 3 of the kids engaged especially our 8 year old. His spacious GMC Acadia with super cold AC certainly doesn’t hurt after a long day touring either!!

Loved it.Very good guide.Who took me right to every place I wanted to go.And who answered every question I had.My father is buried there,he took me right to the location and gave me some private time with my father.Seen the Changing of the guard.Helped a lot having a knowledgeable guild to help me.Highly recommend this tour

Tom took my Boy Scout Troop of 20 scouts and 10 adults on an outstanding tour of Arlington. Many in our group have been to the Cemetery for community service or pay respects. Tom was engaging of all of our participants and really helped bring the history of this hallowed ground to life (no pun intended). He did a great job explaining the sentry operations at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers so that the scouts could gain a greater appreciation of what they were watching. I highly recommend Tom and DC Military Tours for this and the other guided tours they deliver.
