Обзор
Thousands of mule deer, elk, moose, big horn sheep and bison migrate into the valley in search of food each year along with coyotes, fox, bald and golden eagles, swans, and even packs of wolves. This gathering of wintering wildlife makes winter one of the best times to view wildlife in Jackson Hole!

After a full morning in the field we will enjoy lunch together at a local eatery before heading back out for the afternoon. When available, we will take a horse drawn sleigh through the National Elk Refuge into the middle of the largest wild elk herd in North America. Following the sleigh ride, we will head back into the field to spot more wildlife.

**Sleigh rides are optional.

  • Private safaris have no age minimum.
  • For groups of 14 guests or less: We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day safaris and a 14-day cancellation policy for all 2-3 day safaris. For multi-day safaris of 4 days or more, we have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a full refund with no penalty. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. For groups of 15 or more guests: We have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a refund minus a 10% fee. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance before your departure to protect you from incurring any costs associated with unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from joining us.

I waited a day to write this review, to make sure our views were solid. The full day Jackson Hole wildlife tour and tour guide were excellent. We highly recommend asking for Dwayne Newman. He’s a mountain born man with extensive outdoor experience and scientific/naturalist training. Dwayne taught us so much about the geology, animals, trees and wildflowers. We learned to spot rubbed trees, bear and moose fav foods (loved the hawthorne bushes). Dwayne got to know us and once he found out what we were primarily interested in, we were taken to phenomenal spots for grizzly, Fox, coyote, bird, duck viewing. We had a close view of a healthy female grizzly, doing a lot of scratching, rubbing, scenting, eating. We will ask for Dwayne to guide us next time. Enjoy JH everyone!
