We booked the bourbon boat for as something to do on the bourbon trail after most distilleries tours ended. Weather looked questionable for our tour time and they proactively called to move us up and arrange with buffalo trace to get us on their last tour so we could do both. Colonel Nathan was a great and informative guide who provided a lot of additional history that was different than what we learned on the tours. His passion for history and the river is evident. We enjoyed the complimentary local ALe8 and a bourbon ball. I highly recommend this for anyone on the bourbon trail or anyone interested is a relaxing river boat tour with some history thrown in ;both bourbon history and others.

Wonderful and very informative trip down the Kentucky River. Captain Nathan and his wife Allison could not have been more accommodating. We asked to change out tour time because of unsettled weather conditions. They did and we were the only 2 on the boat. Would highly recommend the tour for everyone of any age.
