Eric was terrific. He is clearly super-knowledgeable about all aspects of South Carolina history, and he imparted his love and excitement for that history to our small group. It was one of the best walking tours I've ever had.

We joined Eric on a historical tour of Charleston citadel which gave great insight to not only Charleston history but also how this tied into rest of US and UK history. Eric is very knowledgeable on these topics and he provided a lively and engaged tour that we highly recommend to join,

Dear Soren, thank you very much for writing this wonderful review. It was so much fun to have you and your wife join my historical walking tour all the way from Denmark! I am glad that you appreciated the connections I made between Charleston and England, as it is certainly an important part of the city's history. I hope that you both enjoy the rest of your stay here in the USA and safe travels to you.

Why would you take a history tour with anyone other then a history professor with a PhD in history? This was an excellent tour. Dr Lager is full or great information and stories. Even as we were walking from one main attraction to another we were learning bits of additional information. I am 100% positive he pointed out stuff that some of the other tour guides probably miss. I would give this ten stars if I could. it would also be great for a large family or group of friends to set up a private tour that he offers.
