The 8 mile whitewater stretch through the Snake River Canyon takes you through mix of calm sections where you'll be able to take in the scenery and wildlife, and exciting rapids. On this smaller 8 man raft your paddling skills will be put to the test as your guide leads you into the big waves of Kahuna and Lunch Counter, so be prepared to paddle hard and have a blast getting soaked!
Guests 16 and over will be charged a $3 Bridger Teton National Forest User fee at check in.

  • During the call our office staff will review check in procedures of the day to help limit the time spent inside our office. This may include signing e-waivers for everyone and paying for any wetsuit rentals in advance.
  • You will be getting soaked on this trip. So wear items of clothes that are not made of cotton, synthetic clothes are best!

What an amazing experience. My husband and I shared a raft with another family who had children (ages 9 - 14). Our guide Jake was excellent. He pointed out the amazing wildlife throughout the ride. Jake made sure everyone who wanted to had the opportunity to "ride the bull" through Class II and/or Class III rapids. It was an exciting and thrilling ride through breathtaking landscape.

We had a great time! Nick was an awesome guide down the river. We saw 3 bald eagles, many osprey, and merganser ducklings. We definitely got wet too! I was glad I had gotten the full wetsuit for the 8am trip and I didn’t mind the cold when I jumped in to swim with my son.

Our guide was Bryce, he was excellent! Not only did he ensure the safety of our boat, he kept the Dave Hansen boats together and was constantly aware of the surrounding at all times to ensure maximum fun and safety for all. He was fun and funny. The whitewater rapids were good. We seen three eagles.
