I reluctantly booked the 8-mile Whitewater, 8-man raft for our party of 8 (4 adults, 4 boys ages 12-15) and I'm so glad I did! I was nervous about it since we had never rafted before, but it was an awesome experience. The smaller raft made it much more exciting but not scary at all. Our river guide Mackenzie was amazing!! She was super friendly, calm, and made us all feel at ease and ready for any situation. We did the 8:30am trip on July 11 and it was beautiful and not too cold like I had feared. We wore long sleeved swim shirts, swim shorts/capris and Teva sandals and were very comfortable. There were plenty of calm spots where we could observe nature and we saw an osprey dive in and carry a large fish off in its mouth, and also saw a river otter swimming. We all loved going through the rapids and got pretty wet by the end of the trip. Big shout out to George, our bus driver who was thoroughly entertaining and to Arielle at the front desk and Mackenzie--best guide ever!! I highly recommend rafting with Dave Hansen's--first rate all the way!

The team at Dave Hansen was great. Very well organized. Bud welcomed us and made sure we were checked in and ready to go. Our river guide Eric was awesome. He really made the trip personalized and memorable. Our driver, George, had great travel trips for us and even helped us plan some wildlife watching. Everyone on staff was most welcoming including Madison and the young lady at the desk whose name I did not get. Rafting the Snake is a worthwhile activity. The views are great and the rapids fun, mostly Class 2 and a few 3s. We have already recommended Dave Hansen Outdoors to others. Thanks for making our outing memorable. The Barrett’s

This is our second year rafting with Dave Hansen. Last year we were on a big raft which was a lot of fun but this year we went in a smaller raft and I really preferred it. The guide, Veronica, was friendly and quite competent. I highly recommend rafting with this outfitter!
