You will depart Rapid City at 8:30 am and travel to Mount Rushmore. You will spend time hiking around the monument. Next, you will travel to Crazy Horse Memorial, learning the importance and history of Crazy Horse. Finally, you will get an opportunity to explore beautiful Custer State Park. You will be able to see wildlife at an incredibly close proximity and enjoy the local flora. In each of these locations, you will gain unique and rare insight into the history of the Black Hills. Lunch will be enjoyed at an exquisite local restaurant of your choosing.

There is a two-person minimum to book this tour.

We just returned from a wonderful trip to South Dakota, with Denny G as our tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, gave superb recommendations, and made the whole experience special and memorable. From the insights about the Crazy Horse monument to the chokeberries he found at Devils Tower, we gained a real appreciation for the region from a gentleman who clearly knows and loves it. We are very grateful.

Thank you for your kind words. Denny comes back year after year to give tours just like yours. He is one of our best, although each guide has their own niche. We at Black Hills Adventure Tours strive to give our guests the best possible experience while in the Black Hills. When you can do a multi-day tour with a group like yours and end up having dinner with all of us, we feel very blessed.

Our guide, Mickey, was amazing. Her knowledge of the area along with knowing all the right roads to take was impressive We are an active family so Mickey found amazing hiking/walking trails along the lake, along with picnic area we could stretch our legs and walk or take a hike. Mount Rushmore is a beautiful site … watching the movie is a must…those people had amazing skills back then even without our technology. The Black Hills are a true treasure along with this adventure group.

Our guide Mike was excellent and gave us a lot of information and stopped at all the best stops! It was worth every penny to not have to drive this ourselves!!
