You will depart Rapid City at 8:30 am and travel to Mount Rushmore. You will spend time hiking around the monument. Next, you will travel to Crazy Horse Memorial, learning the importance and history of Crazy Horse. Finally, you will get an opportunity to explore beautiful Custer State Park. You will be able to see wildlife at an incredibly close proximity and enjoy the local flora. In each of these locations, you will gain unique and rare insight into the history of the Black Hills. Lunch will be enjoyed at an exquisite local restaurant of your choosing.

There is a two-person minimum to book this tour.

My husband and I booked this tour along with the Private Northern Black Hills tour. Both of these tours were with Mark and he was awesome. He was super knowledgeable about this entire area and told us interesting stories throughout both days. He tailored our tours to what interested us the most and gave us plenty of time to explore and ask questions. The van we were in was clean and super comfortable and he made sure we always had snacks and water available. At the end of the tour he gave us some of his wife's homemade English toffee that was to die for. We had a blast and he definitely made his trip one to remember.

We booked the day before. We were allowed to bring our dogs. We toured all over the black hills. Mt Rushmore and Custer State Park were our favorites. Mark was our guide and he was phenomenal. Our lunch spot was delicious. It was a top notch tour. We saw things we would have never saw on our own. Marks knowledge was amazing and he was such a friendly tour guide. Mark picked us up at 830 am at the KOA and returned us just after 430pm. Dogs loved it- Mark brought them a treat We can’t say enough - book yours today. It was a tour of a lifetime!

I did two private full day tours with Black Hills Adventure Tours in October 2022. (the "Private Black Hills Monument Package and the Spearfish Canyon Tour) The company is very responsive, knowledgable, professional and a delight to work with! Both days jam packed and great to move at your own pace . Still could have spent more days to take it all in. Denny was my guide and we had a fun time touring. The amount of info he knows is amazing and such a nice person. Very caring company. Denny suggested I be sure to do "Devils Tower" while in the area and it did not dissapoint. One of my favorites! I did the Badlands park on my own during the mid day. Got some great photos and saw a few animals but I think the sunset hours would be better.
