You will depart Rapid City at 8:30 am and travel to Mount Rushmore. You will spend time hiking around the monument. Next, you will travel to Crazy Horse Memorial, learning the importance and history of Crazy Horse. Finally, you will get an opportunity to explore beautiful Custer State Park. You will be able to see wildlife at an incredibly close proximity and enjoy the local flora. In each of these locations, you will gain unique and rare insight into the history of the Black Hills. Lunch will be enjoyed at an exquisite local restaurant of your choosing.

There is a two-person minimum to book this tour.

Our hotel recommended the Black Hills Adventure Tour Company for our family of four. From the moment I contacted Carrie and explained our sightseeing interests, she suggested the Private Black Hills Monument Tour and proceeded to provide the details of the all-day tour. This was exactly our interest and immediately booked the tour. Our driver, Mark, met us in the hotel lobby and off we went. Mark became almost a member of the family. He was friendly, informative, knowledgeable and, most importantly, assisted my husband with getting a walker for him to push to fascinate his walking. You could hear and see Mark’s passion for the Hills of South Dakota. He is truly an asset to this Tour Company and I certainly will be referring our friends to Carrie who plan to visit Rapid City, SD!

I feel very lucky to have chosen this tour, and especially the tour guide, Alan, he was very enthusiastic and explained everything in great detail. I learned a lot from this visit, especially the mine trail, as well as the neddle tunnel, ect...which was amazing. I highly recommend this tour, can't be miss in your trip to Mt Rushmore.
