We booked a semi private Met guided tour and were surprised to find out that we were the only ones on the tour. Lots of other tours would have tried to reschedule us but not this one. Mark took us through The Met and was awesome. We learned so much about art. He was a encyclopedia of information. Even though we knew very little about art and don’t tour museums like this too often, he made us feel very comfortable and was genuinely excited to have a couple of “blank canvases” like us to share his knowledge with. I can’t imagine seeing The Met any other way than with a guide like Mark. There are so many things we would have missed on our own. This is a must-do.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Met tour with Katherine. Her art history knowledge was impressive and she navigated us around the museum with ease. We highly recommend Katherine for your tour guide.

Our tour guide Mark made our first visit to Metropolitan Musum a real experience. He gave us extensive and detailed background information about the various art directions, despite the enormous amount of art in this museum. Highly recommended not only for first time visitors to this fantastic museum.
