We took the 1.5Hr trip up the San Fran shore, went under the Golden Gate Bridge then back around Alcatraz. Fantastic sights loved the narration describing what was around us as we were cruising by. They give you lots of time to take pictures if you want as well as time to just absorb the beauty of the bay. Staff was friendly getting on and off but they otherwise didn't engage with the passengers. The wind is cool so I highly recommend a light jacket at least and be sure to put on sunscreen! With San Fran having lower temps being on the water and with the constant winds you can miss the fact that the sun is VERY hot! I got burnt while adventuring for the day and didn't even realize it until retiring for the evening.

Our 1st trip to San Francisco . Took the 1 hour tour . We were given military discount and had option to travel at multiple times. We waited for fog to clear and had great views of city , bay bridges , Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Next time we will do Alcatraz tour

Boat. Bridge. Alcatraz. Does exactly what it says on the tour and is an easy way to see the bridge and island from the bay. Bring a jumper though as there's a cold wind once you leave the shelter of the pier,.
