I absolutely loved this museum and only wish I has more time to really explore it. Hawaiian history is so interesting and the collection here is fantastic. Docent gave a wonderful 50 minute (or so) tour and I highly recommend that to get started. I was there 2.5 hours. I could have stayed there all day. Only had time to explore the main building. Found this museum using a guidebook and never would have known it existed if I relied on the recommendations of folks in the hotel. Honolulu is more than Waikiki beach, parasailing, and helicopter hours. Such a hidden gem, don't miss this one!

Went to the museum with a group of family and friends on Monday afternoon, two hours was not enough to cover everything they had to offer. Lego exhibit was amazing; great pieces were displayed including Titanic. Highly recommend this place!

The Bishop Museum was absolutely beautiful. I loved being able to peruse artifacts that make Hawaii exactly what it is- so historical and cultural. Visiting this museum was a great introduction to Hawaiian culture and I would strongly recommend going.
