You will pick up the electric bikes at our store and receive brief training and directions on where you can go on this self guided ride. Then you will enjoy riding an electric bike along the coastline in Carlsbad for 3 hours. Check out the surfers and the waves crashing on the beach. The bike lane parallels the beach for approximately 6 miles and then continues through the quaint little towns. There are plenty of places to stop along with way and sit on the beach, shop or get a bite to eat.

I called Diego to ask about the electric bikes and ended up reserving with a card. He was super nice on the phone and in person! David actually helped us get bikes and helmets at first then gave us the key to the bathrooms which were upstairs... When we came back down Diego helped us get settled on our bikes and gave us netting to hold our bags on the back. We rode down alongside the ocean to Leucadia(where the bike lane turned into street parking and the bike lane then became a full lane but the cars were using it too and we ended up going to Grandview surf beach. Then we headed back. The Electric bikes were awesome especially uphill! I would rent again!

When my husband and I are on vacation, looking for the closest Pedego bike shop is one of the FIRST things we do because we just love riding these awesome electric bikes! Our 3-hour recent rental (Couples Romance package) was by far the most "all-inclusive" experience to date! (2 bikes, 2 helmets, 2 beach towels, 2 waters, 2 delicious sandwiches, 2 bike locks, 2 Pedego watches and 1 collapsible cooler - we got to keep the watches and cooler!!) Dave was very friendly and helpful in arranging for our reservation and on the day of our rental, Andy was extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable in ensuring we had everything we needed for our ride. We took a leisurely ride to Encinitas enjoying the beautiful Pacific coastline. This location has a beautiful shop equipped with all kinds of Pedego bikes and equipment. We would definitely rent here again mainly because of the quality of service they provide. Thank you, Andy!!
